Changing Your Login Credentials
You can change your login email or password from your account profile, and recover a forgotten password from the login page using an email-based reset.
Changing Your Email Address or Password
Both your login email and your password live on your account profile.
- Click your initials at the top right corner of any OutSmart page and choose My Profile (or open the profile area from the main menu).
- Open the section with your account details.
- Edit the Email field to change your login email, or use the Change Password option to set a new password.
- Save your changes.
The next time you log in, use the updated email or password.
Recovering a Forgotten Password
If you’ve lost your password, you can reset it from the login page — you don’t need to contact support.
- Go to the OutSmart login page at app.outsmartemr.com.
- Click the Forgot Password link.
- On the password-reset page, type the email address for your account.
- Click Recover Password.
- OutSmart emails you a reset link. Open the email and follow the link to set a new password.
Troubleshooting
I didn’t get the password-reset email
- Check your spam or junk folder — the email sometimes ends up there.
- Make sure you typed the right email address — the address has to match the one on your OutSmart account exactly.
- Try the reset from a desktop or laptop browser if you were on a phone. Mobile browsers occasionally interfere with the reset flow.
If you still don’t get the email after a few minutes, contact us at contact.outsmartemr.com.
How to reach support
- Go to contact.outsmartemr.com and we’ll get back to you.
Will changing my password affect my MFA?
No. MFA and your password are separate. Changing your password leaves MFA on, and your authenticator-app codes continue to work.
