Active Campaign Integration

What is Active Campaign?

Active Campaign is a customer experience automation platform that allows you to create and manage email lists. This enables you to automate your email sending process for patient communication and marketing.

How to Integrate with Active Campaign

Before you begin, you must have an existing Active Campaign account. If you do not have one, you can register on their website.

{% step %} Now, log into your OutSmart account and go to the Office page and select Remote Services. {% endstep %}

{% step %} Paste the copied URL and API Key into the respective fields under the Active Campaign section.

Creating and Managing Email Lists

Email lists are created within Active Campaign. You can then manage them from within your OutSmart account.

Creating Lists in Active Campaign

  1. In your Active Campaign account, click the Lists icon on the right-hand pane.
  2. On the lists page, select the Add List button.
  3. From here, you can add pre-populated lists or create your own custom lists.

Managing Lists in OutSmart

Once your lists are created in Active Campaign, you can manage them in OutSmart in two ways:

From the Patient Workspace

Manually add a patient to an email list from the Demographics section of their workspace.

From the Event Manager

You can automatically add patients to a list when they book a specific event. In the Event Manager, edit an event and link it to an Active Campaign list. When a patient books that event, they will be automatically added to the list. You can also remove the link to a list from an event at any time.
