Schedule Trends Analysis
The Booking Trends card is designed to help you visualize and analyze trends from your OutSmart Calendar data. To function correctly, it’s essential that your calendar is used to book all patient appointments.

When you first add the card, it will not display any data. You will need to configure it by selecting which events and practitioners you want to include. Your account type will determine the scope of data you can view:
- Admin Accounts: Can graph data for all events and all practitioners.
- Clinic Owners: Can graph their own events and those of any invited practitioners.
- Invited Practitioners: Can only graph their own patient events.
Configuring the Booking Trends Card
To begin, click the Card Settings button at the top right of the card to open the configuration panel.

Here are the settings you can configure:
- Graph Intervals: Choose to group your data by day, week, or month.
- Graph Values: Select whether you want to graph each event type separately (By Events), the total hours for each event type (By Hours), or the total hours for all selected event types combined (By Total Hours).
- Time Range: Choose from preset time ranges (e.g., this week, last month) or set a custom time frame.
- Scope: Depending on your account type, you can set the scope to your own events or, for admins, across multiple practitioners.
- Events to Include: After setting the scope, you can select which specific events to pull data from. Only the events you select here will be included in the graph.
Once you have configured your settings, click Submit at the bottom. The data will be graphed on the card, and your settings will be saved so you don’t have to reconfigure it each time.
You can also add multiple Booking Trends cards to your dashboard and configure each one individually. However, if you delete a card, its unique configuration will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
