What is Virtual Office Mode?

Virtual Office mode changes how your location is displayed:

This is perfect for:

  • Telehealth-only practices
  • Remote consultation services
  • Practitioners who work from home
  • Mobile or traveling practitioners

Enabling Virtual Office Mode

Step-by-Step

  1. Log in as an office administrator
  2. Visit your office booking page in edit mode
  3. Find the office information in the hero card
  4. Click the pencil icon to edit the office profile
  5. Toggle Virtual Office to ON
  6. Enter your custom label (e.g., “Virtual Appointments Only”)
  7. Click Save

Virtual Office Label

When Virtual Office mode is enabled, you can customize the text that replaces your address.

If you don’t specify a label, the default is:

Service-Level Virtual Settings

In addition to the office-level setting, each service can have its own visit type:

Combining Virtual and Physical

If you offer both virtual and in-person appointments:

Option 1: Standard Office

Keep Virtual Office mode disabled and:

  • Show your physical address
  • Mark individual services as Virtual or In-Person
  • Patients can filter by appointment type

Option 2: Virtual Office + In-Person Note

Enable Virtual Office mode and:

  • Set your label to something like “Telehealth & In-Person Available”
  • Mark individual services appropriately
  • Include address in your office description if needed

Editing Office Profile

The Virtual Office toggle is part of the full office profile editor, which also lets you edit:

Troubleshooting

Address Still Showing

  • Verify Virtual Office toggle is enabled
  • Click Save after making changes
  • Refresh the page

Virtual Label Not Appearing

  • Enter a custom label in the text field
  • If blank, default “Virtual Clinic” is used
  • Check that toggle is turned ON

Need to Show Address Sometimes

Consider these options:

  • Disable Virtual Office mode
  • Add address to office description/bio
  • Create separate booking pages for virtual vs in-person

Clear Communication

  • Make it obvious that appointments are virtual
  • Explain the technology used (video call, phone, etc.)
  • Provide instructions in confirmation emails
