SOAP Charts: Incomplete Charts / Recent Charts
The SOAP Charts Dashboard Card provides quick access to the most relevant medical charts and treatment plans for both practitioners and administrative staff.
For Practitioners: Incomplete Charts
This card shows all of your incomplete (unlocked and unsigned) SOAP charts, so you can easily access them to finalize your notes and sign the chart.
From this card, you can access the following resources and actions related to the patient:
- The ScratchPad for the patient
- The print view of their chart
- Their Client Workspace
- Open their SOAP Chart for editing
- Cancel a pending chart review (Students only)
- Begin a chart review (Supervisors only)

For Student Practitioners
If you are a student working under the supervision of another practitioner, this dashboard card will include a flag showing that the chart has been assigned to them. You can configure your account as a student account within the Charting Preferences.
For Supervising Practitioners
If you are a supervisor who needs to sign off on your student’s charts, the card will show flags to alert you when a chart is ready for your review.
For Administrative Staff: Recent Charts
This card displays the most recent treatment plans created by any practitioner at the clinic, giving you a quick overview of recent activity. It is a useful list to have quick access to, for example, when a patient is checking out and wants a printout of their treatment plan.
From this card, admins can access the following resources and actions related to the patient:
- The print view of their Treatment Plan
- Their Client Workspace
