Creating a Patient Treatment Plan

In the Basic Charting system, a Patient Treatment Plan is created by typing your plan into the Plan Freeform section of a chart. All notes entered in this section will appear on the printable treatment plan.

The treatment plan is entered into the Plan Freeform section of the chart, when using the Basic Charting method. Pro Charting offers more features.

How to Create a Treatment Plan

1. Enter or paste your treatment plan notes into the Plan Freeform section of the SOAP chart.
2. Click the Print Treatment Plan button at the top of the Chart Editing Interface.

This action will generate a printable treatment plan that you can either send to a printer or save as a PDF.

Note

With PRO Charting, the treatment plan composes itself — product recommendations, prescriptions, and blends from the Products section land on the printed plan automatically, alongside whatever you wrote in the Plan section. If you find yourself retyping the same product names or dosages into Plan Freeform that you’ve already entered as recommendations, that’s the cue to move to PRO Charting.
