Personal Profile Photo
Each practitioner has a personal profile photo that:
- Is controlled by the practitioner themselves
- Appears on their personal booking page (Practitioner Priority mode)
- Serves as the default image on office booking pages
Office Photo Override
In Office Priority mode, office administrators can:
- Upload custom photos for each practitioner
- Override the practitioner’s personal photo
- Maintain consistent styling across the team

Managing Personal Profile Photos
Who Can Edit
Only the practitioner themselves can edit their personal profile photo.
How to Upload
- Log in to OutSmart as yourself (the practitioner)
- Visit your personal booking page (Practitioner Priority mode)
- Find your profile photo in the hero overlay card
- Hover over your photo to reveal the camera icon
- Click the camera icon
- Select a photo from your computer
- Crop to square using the cropping tool
- Click “Save Image”
Best Practices for Headshots
Do:
- Use a professional, well-lit headshot
- Choose a neutral or blurred background
- Face the camera directly or at a slight angle
- Smile naturally
- Wear professional attire
Don’t:
- Use casual selfies
- Include other people in the photo
- Use photos with distracting backgrounds
- Upload blurry or low-quality images
Managing Office Photo Overrides
Who Can Edit
Office administrators can upload custom photos for any practitioner on their office booking page.

- Maintain consistent photo style across the team
- Use professional photos taken together
- Different branding for different office locations
- Update photos without waiting for practitioners
How to Upload Override Photos
- Log in as an office administrator
- Visit your office’s booking page (Office Priority mode)
- Navigate to the “Our Team” tab in the sidebar
- Find the practitioner whose photo you want to change
- Hover over their photo to reveal the camera icon
- Click the camera icon
- Select a photo from your computer
- Crop and Save
Priority of Photos
When displaying a practitioner on an office page:
- Office override (if set) - Highest priority
- Practitioner’s personal photo - Default fallback
- Placeholder icon - If no photos exist

Photo Sizes by Context
Photos are displayed at different sizes:
- Hero card: Large (80-100 pixels)
- Sidebar cards: Medium (60-80 pixels)
- Selection cards: Small to medium
Removing Photos
Remove Personal Photo
- Log in as the practitioner
- Visit your personal booking page
- Click the camera icon on your photo
- Click the Remove option in the editor
Remove Office Override
- Log in as office administrator
- Visit the office booking page
- Find the practitioner in the Team tab
- Click the camera icon
- Click Remove to restore the personal photo
If a Practitioner Has No Photo
When no photo exists:

The placeholder is identical across all practitioners
Pages with practitioner photos convert better than those without. Encourage all team members to upload professional headshots.

- Use the same photographer for all team photos
- Choose consistent lighting and backgrounds
- Agree on dress code (professional, casual, etc.)
- Maintain similar framing (head and shoulders)

- Capture multiple options per person
Troubleshooting
Photo Looks Blurry
- Upload higher resolution image (400x400 minimum)
- Use original photo files, not screenshots
- Avoid cropping too tightly before upload
Can’t See Camera Icon
- Verify you have edit permissions
- Practitioners: Must be on YOUR booking page
- Admins: Must be on your office’s booking page
- Hover directly over the photo
Photo Not Updating
- Refresh the page
- Clear browser cache
- Try a different browser
- Re-upload the image
Wrong Photo Displaying
- Check if an office override exists
- Verify you’re viewing the correct booking page
- Admins can remove overrides to restore personal photos
