Reordering Team

How Team Ordering Works

Practitioners in the “Our Team” tab appear in a specific order:

  • Order is set by the office administrator
  • Patients see practitioners in this order
  • Order is independent of services ordering

Reordering Practitioners

Step-by-Step

  1. Log in as an office administrator
  2. Visit your office booking page in edit mode
  3. Navigate to the “Our Team” tab
  4. Find the practitioner you want to move
  5. Click and hold the drag handle (left side of card)
  6. Drag the card up or down
  7. Drop at the desired position
  8. Order saves automatically

Visual Feedback

While Dragging

  • The card follows your cursor
  • Other cards shift to show the drop position
  • A placeholder indicates where the card will land

Saving

  • A spinner may appear briefly on the drag handle
  • “Saving order…” text may display
  • Dragging is disabled during save
  • Order updates once save completes

Order Display

Team Tab

Practitioners appear in your set order:

  • First practitioner at top
  • Last practitioner at bottom
  • Horizontal cards on mobile

Patient Selection

When patients click to select a practitioner:

  • List follows the same order
  • First practitioner appears first

Order Persistence

What’s Saved

The order is saved to office preferences:

  • Stored as an ordered list of practitioner IDs
  • Persists across browser sessions
  • Affects all visitors to the page

Multiple Administrators

If multiple admins manage the page:

  • Any admin can reorder
  • Last change wins
  • Order is shared across all admins

Best Practices

Order Considerations

By seniority:

  • Senior practitioners first
  • New practitioners later
  • Traditional approach

By specialty:

  • Group by specialty area
  • Patients find relevant practitioners faster

By availability:

  • Most available practitioners first
  • Busier practitioners later
  • Maximizes booking success

By popularity:

  • Most-booked practitioners first
  • Based on patient demand
  • Improves conversion rates

Review Periodically

Consider reordering when:

  • New practitioners join
  • Practitioners leave
  • Booking patterns change
  • Specialties shift in focus

Order and Services

Independent Ordering

Practitioner order is separate from service order:

  • Team tab: Practitioners in your set order
  • Services tab: Services in service order
  • No automatic linking

Service Cards

On service cards, practitioner names appear in:

  • Alphabetical order (not team order)
  • This is a display convenience, not based on team position

Troubleshooting

Drag Not Working

  • Ensure you’re clicking the drag handle (left side)
  • Verify you’re logged in as office admin
  • Wait for any pending saves
  • Try refreshing the page

Order Not Saving

  • Wait for the save operation to complete
  • Check your internet connection
  • Look for error messages
  • Try the operation again

Order Appears Wrong

  • Refresh the page to see current order
  • Check if another admin made changes
  • Verify you’re on the right booking page

New Practitioner Not in List

  • First add them via the dropdown
  • Then drag to desired position
  • New practitioners appear at the end
