Printing your Chart

You can print your charts and treatment plans from several locations:

• The Chart Editor
• The chart list on the SmartCharts page
• The chart list on the Client/Patient Workspace
• The chart list on the Charts card on the Dashboard

Printing from the Chart Editor

When you are actively working on a chart, you can click the ‘print’ icons in the Top Toolbar to open a print view. From there, you can switch between the Patient Treatment Plan and the Full Chart. Click the blue Print Chart button to open your browser’s print dialog, which allows you to print to a physical printer or save as a PDF.

Print the full chart or the Treatment Plan using the print buttons at the top of the Chart Editor.

Printing from a Chart List

When viewing a list of charts, simply click the ‘Full Chart’ or ‘Patient Treatment Plan’ icon next to the chart you want to print. This will open the print view, from which you can print or save the document as a PDF.

Note

The Full Chart print includes everything you wrote — your full clinical notes, the assessment, the plan, the lot. The Patient Treatment Plan print is what you hand to the patient: it strips out internal notes and shows only the plan, products, and instructions for them. Pick whichever fits what you need — clinical record for the file vs takeaway for the patient.
