Inviting Practitioners and Staff To Your Office

Inviting New Clinic Members

Inviting Practitioners and Staff is done from the Office Details Page within your OutSmart account. To get there, simply click on the Office option in the OutSmart Main Navigation Menu.

On the Office Details Page, click on the Practitioners and Staff tab. This page is where you will manage and invite team members.

Click on the Practitioners and Staff tab to access the invitations page.

To invite new members, you must send an invitation using the exact email address they will use for their account. The left column is for inviting practitioners, while the right column is for staff. You will also see a list of your current team members on this page and can click the Remove button next to their name if needed.

Practitioners are listed on the left column, and administrative staff are listed on the right.

Accepting Invitations

Invited individuals will receive an email containing a registration link. They must click on this link to be taken to the account registration page. The link automatically includes a security code, which is the only way to successfully create an account in our system. Navigating directly to the registration page will not work.

If an invited person does not receive the email, they should first check their spam folder. If it is there, they should mark it as “not spam” to prevent future issues.

If the email is still missing, it’s possible that the email address is already in use by an existing account. In this case, ask the clinic to try a different email address or contact us at contact.outsmartemr.com for assistance.

The invitation process is finalized when the invited practitioner or staff member logs into their account and accepts the request. If they are already logged in, they must log out and then log back in to see the invitation. Once they approve it, they will be linked to your office.

Click Approve to accept the invitation offer.
