Core Features

By default, the Dispensary Orders card allows all users to view essential transaction data, including:

  • Patient Name: Quick identification of the purchaser.
  • Transaction ID: For easy bookkeeping and reference.
  • Balances: See which orders are fully paid and which have outstanding amounts.

Standard vs. Advanced Dispensary Systems

The information displayed on your card will automatically adapt based on the type of dispensary system enabled for your clinic:

Standard Dispensaries

For clinics using the regular dispensary features, the card is primarily used to track invoices and refunds from your dispensary.

Standard dispensary settings on the Dispensary Dashboard card

  • Filter by Dispensary: You can adjust the settings to only show orders from a specific dispensary
  • Filter by Practitioner: You can filter the orders / invoices to only show those related to a specific practitioner.
  • Filter by Patient: You can filter the results to only show those transactions from a specific patient.

Advanced Dispensary Order Management

If your clinic has the Advanced system enabled, your dashboard card includes a specialized Fulfillment Status column. This allows you to track the physical movement of products through the following stages:

  • Draft: Draft orders that were submitted by practitioners or patients, but not confirmed.
  • Submitted: Confirmed orders that have not yet been started.
  • In Progress: Orders are currently in progress and being packaged.
  • Ready: Orders that are ready to be shipped are picked up.
  • Shipped: Orders that have been shipped and tracking numbers sent.
  • Picked Up: Orders that are ready for pickup by the patient at your location.

Customizing Your Dashboard

You can add multiple Dispensary Order cards to your dashboard to create a customized workflow.

Usage Examples:

  • The Pipeline Strategy (Advanced Dispensary): Add three cards side-by-side. Set Card 1 to “Submitted,” Card 2 to “In Progress,” and Card 3 to “Ready” to visualize your entire shipping pipeline.
  • The Multiple Dispensary Strategy (Standard Dispensary): add one card to your dashboard per dispensary that you have access to. This will give you an at-a-glance view of orders moving through different dispensaries, which is helpful in clinics where every practitioner is their own business and manages their own products.

Configuration Options

Each card can be individually filtered by:

  1. Dispensary: Select the specific clinic location.
  2. Practitioners: View orders associated with specific providers.
  3. Patients: Narrow the view to specific individuals.
  4. Fulfillment Status: (Advanced Dispensary Only) View specific stages of the order lifecycle.
