Email Templates

• All email notification templates have been updated. We’ve also split the initial booking confirmation e-mail into 2 messages. You can see all the new templates here.

Login/Register

• The patient portal registration and log in page has moved. The new URL is https://portal.outsmartemr.com. We advise that you update your links to the portal in your patient communications and website, if you have links there. Regardless, any attempt by patients to access the patient portal using the old links will simply redirect them to the new page.

Medical Access Code / Link

• Practitioners and clinic staff can now send patients the Medical Records Access Code as an activation link via email, however we still strongly recommend that Medical Records Access Code be provided in person, via printout, directly to your patients.

Smart Forms Access Code / Link

• The Smarforms access code is now automatically sent as an Access Link, so that patients can simply click on a button within their e-mails to get access to their forms.

Patient Portal

• The entire patient portal has been revamped to be fully mobile friendly, and easier to navigate. You can learn more about the portal here.
