The OutSmart Calendar is a powerful tool which will allow you to organize your clinic’s scheduling quickly and effectively. Here are some of the basics you need to know about in order to get started.

This video is an overview of the basics.
Note that you must first create your Event Types before being able to book appointments. If you have not done so already, start with that first.
If you need to change a patient on a calendar event, simply find the event in the calendar, and click on it to open the Event Editor. Once you have the event editor open, you can then click on the patient drop-down and change this to another patient. Then click on “save” at the bottom to save the event. Do not click on “Save and Send” unless you intend to send the new patient a confirmation for that appointment.
The Event Logs are a log of all activities, both manual and automated, that involve a specific event in your Calendar. This includes the creation of the event, any modifications, and any e-mails or notifications that have been sent as a result of the event creation and event changes.
You can access the Event Log for a specific event by clicking on the event in your calendar, and then either clicking on ‘More Details’. This will open up a read-only view of the event, and you will see a Logs title that you can click on to view the Event Logs for this event.
The Event Log will help you to investigate changes related to the event, and notifications sent, in case there are any unexpected changes to that event, or notification issues. Logs are listed in reverse chronological order, with the most recent activity at the top of the list.
